Introduction to Volunteering Workshop
This workshop is for anyone who wants to find out more about volunteering and how it can help you. It is designed to give you a greater understanding of volunteering in your local community.
The workshop will cover becoming a volunteer and what this means and also discuss:
- What are the benefits of volunteering?
- What is the role of the Volunteer Centre Lewisham?
- How to find the right volunteer opportunity for you?
- What are your rights and responsibilities as a volunteer?
- What are the rights and responsibilities of organisations that involve volunteers?
- How to use your volunteering experience for personal and professional development?
Everyone will be given an attendance certificate!
